Film reviews: Idiots and Angels (2008), The Road (2009)

Idiots and Angels / Des Idiots et des Anges (2008)
Cartoon for adults. The protagonist sells arms, as well as rides a libertine lifestyle. But one day during a morning shave, he notices that he begins to grow angel wings. At first he tried to hide them or even remove it. But the wings are still grown and begun to change the main character for the better. The cartoon is very abstruse and painted as if a child with a pencil. In general, a cartoon for the harsh people. I like it for something more prettier and easier to understand. 3 out of 5.

The Road (2009)
Fantastic. Drama. Something happened on the ground, destroying almost all living things, and people there are very few. And those that remained were divided into cannibals and their victims. First searched for vulnerable people, the second searched at least some food in abandoned houses and shops. It is from the second turned out to be the protagonist with a young son. The whole movie they go from north to south, through the horrors of an apocalyptic world, a ghost of a better life. Not a bad drama. The actors play well, too. But the appreciation interfere put too vague plot. From the movie and it is not clear what happened on the ground that all life was gone, and people stayed. This can never happen because people are not tenacious other animals. Rather, people would have died than the rats and cockroaches. But in the movie except for the beetle and the dogs no more animals are not found. All the plants are dead. And so the plants would just survived, but not, in the opinion of the director survived only by people. Another main character all the time went with a revolver, which was only two cartridges. He was looking for food, but e could find bullets to a revolver. This in a country (USA), where almost every second is a weapon. In general, the plot I have a claim, but here's the storyline about a father and son of course is good, and it's one thing for which and is worth seeing this film. 4 out of 5.
